Happy First Sunday, the year is going by pretty fast we are already in March. This second post almost didn’t happen trying to do laundry, and get ready for the week. But, I have come to realize that when one is passionate about something it just flows. 🙂
Service today was awesome, I love Praise and Worship and our Worship leader sang one of my favorite songs. A Ghanaian song called Ah-yaeee, Ah-yaeee, Ah-yaeee, Ah-yaeee, one word that is repeated over and over and it simply means that God has done so much for us that we don’t even know what to say to him, so all we can say is Ah-yaeee, Ah-yaeee, Ah-yaeee.
Our Assistant Pastor Harrison did the preaching today, the title of his message was “What is the anchor of Christianity” and the answer is our faith.
Luke 17:6(NKJV) 6 So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.
Matthew 17:20New King James Version (NKJV) 20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief;[a] for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
My faith is the anchor of my Christianity and my spirituality. Hebrews 11, is a great chapter on faith. My church is God’s Way Chapel International a bible based church located in Beltsville, MD. If you do not have a church home, I invite you to come and worship with us.
My Africana outfit see part 1 for the meaning of Africana was on point or fleek today. I got a lot of compliments on it. Thank you good people. The fabric I bought from a lady and the style was inspired by a Zac Posen Resort 2014 outfit I saw on pinterest. It was made by our Assistant Pastors wife who is a seamstress, Mrs. Stella.
Make it a blessed an awesome week, I urge you to activate your faith and believe God for the impossible. God does not add, he multiplies in Genesis he told Adam and Eve be fruitful and multiply. May the Lord bring the counsel of the heathen to nought in your life in Jesus name..
Psalm 33:10King James Version (KJV)10 The Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.
