Hello good people. Life is a choice and our destiny is in God’s hands but God uses places and people to fulfill destiny. In the bible, there are numerous occasions where the Lord changed a person’s status, name and destiny based on their location. Today, I take you to the “Well” in Samaria.

The woman at the well also know as the “Samaritan Woman”, is a perfect example of how one’s life can change for the better based on their location. I am sure there where a lot of “Wells” in Samaria but she went to that particular well and lo and behold who was waiting for her, Jesus Christ of Nazareth himself. A lot of times we miss opportunities and blessings because we are at the wrong place at the wrong time. Be cognizant of your life and take inventory of where you are to be at a particular moment in time.

2015, was a year of mixed emotions for me, I had a lot of decisions to make and some people that I held dear to my life, walked out on me. It was a really, really rough time, but I thank God for my family and prayer. I now realize that their season was over in my life and they cannot go where, God is taking me. It also shows that there comes a time in life when seasons change, the pruning is not easy but it is worth it.

John Chapter 4 is a long chapter, I won’t put the whole thing on here, but will give you a few excerpts from it. It said that Jesus Christ needed to go through Samaria.

John 4:3 He left Judea and departed again to Galilee. 4. But he needed to go through Samaria.

Jesus asked the “Samaritan Woman” a simple question “Give me a drink” John 4:7 A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give me a drink”. 9 Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, ‘How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman? 10 Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” 11 The woman said to Him, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get the Living water?

This lady almost missed it, but Jesus was patient with her, because his ways are not our ways and his thoughts are not our thoughts. All we need in life, is to pray ask God for direction and listen. Do not be distracted , learn to speak less and listen more.

Locate your location or your “well” today. My “well” or location may not be yours, but everyone has a “well” or location that will change or propel you to your destiny. The bible always uses locations to propel someone into their destiny. Jacob’s name was changed to Israel when he encountered God.

Genesis 32:28 And He said, ” Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God with men, and have prevailed.

Are you where God wants you to be at this moment in time? Your destiny depends on it. I thank God that even though I am not where I need to be yet, I am not where I used to be. I have located my location, and that in turn is helping me fulfill my destiny and purpose in life. I urge you to locate your location today in Jesus name.

Pictures I took for “One Night With The King” a program at my church, befitting for this post.
