My name is Jacqueline Marcella Ayo-Davies, I was born in Freetown, Sierra Leone and currently reside in Maryland, USA. My Dad is Sierra Leonean and my mother is part Sierra Leonean part Liberian. I have a younger sister Carmena Ayo-Davies owner of 3BGMarketingSolutions based in the Philadelphia area.

I started a blog three years ago, it was something I really wanted to do and I called it “We make trends” as I am not one to go with the flow I go against the flow. My cousin Melvyna was on me to do it and Jill a friend of mine who I used to love her blogs.

I wrote one blog post and never came back to it. I really didn’t know what I was going to write about so I totally forgot about it. Cleaning through my emails I came across the link. http://wemaketrends.blogspot.com/

Fast forward to a few weeks ago I was browsing Steve Harvey’s Instagram page and I came across this lady Patrice C. Washington, so I went to her page started to go through it and noticed that she was in the Essence magazine I had just received in the mail. On one of the post she talked about earning more money and I commented that I wanted to earn more and sure enough she responded with join the “I will earn more” movement. To cut a long story short, I did and here I am based on one of the assignments where she talked about how blogging helped her to where she is now.

On that note, I sat down and I thought I love fashion and I love the word of God. Nearly every Sunday I post positive things and pictures on Facebook, so in essence I have been walking in my calling all along but not aware of it. I like to lift people up and motivate. I also like clothes, I usually have this image in my head what an outfit should look like and I work on putting it together either from my closet or sketch it and have it made. I also have a background in Finance, I can cook and bake but don’t like doing it, that will be a post for another day.

As, we bring February to a close today the 29th a leap day. I am going to embark and leap on a new journey, the bible says the steps of a righteous man is ordered by the Lord. I pray that he orders my steps.

Philippians 3:12-14.
12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
